Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the VocaBuddy app (the "Application") created by Batuhan Kacmaz (the "Service Provider") as a Free service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the Application, you automatically agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must cease using the Application and delete it from your device.

2. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property rights related to the Application belong to the Service Provider. You may not copy, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application or create derivative versions.

3. User Content & Conduct

If the Application allows you to input text, words, or other content ("User Content"):

• You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to store and display it within the app.
• Objectionable Content: You may not use the Application to store or share defamatory, offensive, or illegal material. We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate accounts that violate this.

4. Service & Charges

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify the Application or charge for its services at any time. Any transition from a Free to a Paid model will be clearly communicated. You are responsible for any data charges incurred from your mobile provider while using the Application.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will always be error-free or that it will meet your specific educational goals or vocabulary retention requirements.

6. Security & Jailbreaking

It is your responsibility to keep your device secure. We strongly advise against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, as it may expose your device to malware and cause the Application to malfunction.

7. Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes third-party services with their own terms:

• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Firebase Crashlytics

8. Termination

The Service Provider may terminate your access to the Application at any time without notice. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you will end, and you must stop using the Application.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
